Hello Beehively users! With today’s software update, we made numerous improvements across the software to make things easier for you. Here are some of the changes that we’ve made today:

  • The mobile view of the Today Page has been updated for ease of use.
  • The default expiration date for all new content created is now set to the last day of the last academic period in the school year. You can still set posts to expire whenever you want once they are published!
  • The Announcement authoring view has had a few updates to make the process simpler and clearer.
  • Custom roles can no longer be assigned the super-administrative permission. This permission can be assigned to users by giving them the Administrator role, which allows them access to all features and data in the school.
  • The “Past Meetings” page has been redesigned to show all past meetings and their attendance links in a table. For Beehively Meetings, your attendance and recordings can be seen from this view.
  • Some email templates for certain system generated emails have been updated.
  • The Google Classroom Sync menu panel has some added extra text to describe how it works.
  • Dashboards for email distributions will show a different status message when email distribution is turned off schoolwide for non-staff users
  • Resolved an issue where accounts with no set password could not log in with Google single sign on.
  • Resolved an issue where the “Contact” panel on the Parent 360 view didn’t show information properly.
  • Fixed an issue where scheduled courses would continue throughout the whole week of the last day of an academic period.
  • Fixed minor issues with ical calendar subscriptions.
  • Fixed an issue where parent & student names were sometimes duplicated in Volunteer Events view.
