Beehively is an education-focused technology firm based in Davis, CA. Since 2007 we've provided private elementary schools throughout Northern California with a rich suite of web services and technology guidance including public websites, content management systems, and most recently implementing One-to-One programs. We also consult with private high schools and elementary schools, non-profits and county school offices for technology planning and website redesign.

As part of our One-to-One program, Beehively provides specialized expertise in supporting technology and cloud services at schools. Schools engage us as a one-stop-shop for technology products, support and equipment, including network, wifi, security and end-user devices such as tablets, pads and laptops.

Account Executive (Multiple Positions) Location: Flexible Oct 22, 2021

The Role

Beehively is in the process of increasing their sales capacity during an exciting period of growth. As such, we are searching for new Account Executives to join the Sales Team.

An Account Executive will assist with a variety of new sales opportunities and projects. Account Executives are remunerated for their successes through commission on top of their base pay. Within Beehively there is a lot of opportunity for training and growth. This is a good fit for an enthusiastic, organized, people-person who has a knack for customer service, sales and is passionate about education. These individuals will have a friendly and professional attitude and will be able to work independently with direction and guidance from their manager.

Duties
  • Helping to identify new markets, tracking sales leads and opportunities
  • Diligent relationship building with new clients
  • Drafting contracts and cost estimates
  • Send and track email campaigns
  • Supporting the sales team
  • This role will require some local travel (must have a car and valid driver's license).
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Sales experience, ideally in education or technology sectors
  • Experience in the education sector is highly desirable
  • Familiar with computers and a variety of computing and mobile technology (including iPads and Chromebooks)

Web Account Representative Location: Flexible Oct 22, 2021

The Role

Beehively is looking to grow its customer service team. We are currently looking for a Web Account Representative to help us provide excellent service to our schools and build great relationships with our schools' teachers and administrators

A Web Account Representative will assist with a variety of customer care issues and public website projects. This position requires 0-2 years of experience in the customer service industry, but there is a lot of opportunity for training and growth. This is a good fit for an enthusiastic and organized individual who has some experience, enjoys assisting customers and working with schools. This individual will have a friendly and professional attitude and will be able to work independently with direction and guidance from other team members.

Duties
  • Work with the account managers on any and all matters specific to our customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions, including public website redesigns, launching new public websites, and helping schools with our software
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work towards leading trainings at schools
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Responding to and assisting with urgent requests as needed

Tech Support Representative Location: Bay Area Oct 22, 2021

The Role

TechaBee & Beehively are looking to grow their technology solutions team with both senior and junior staff. We are currently looking for a Support Technician to help us provide excellent service to our schools and build great relationships with our schools' teachers and administrators. As part of our One-to-One program, Beehively provides specialized expertise in supporting technology and cloud services at schools. Schools engage us as a one-stop-shop for technology products, support and equipment, including network, wifi, security and end-user devices such as tablets, iPads and laptops.

A Support Technician will assist with a variety of customer care issues and projects. This is an entry level position with lots of opportunity for training and growth and is a good fit for a technology enthusiast who has basic experience, enjoys assisting customers and working with schools. This individual will have a friendly and professional attitude and will be able to work independently with direction and guidance from other team members.

Duties
  • Troubleshooting with clients in person at schools and via email, phone and remote desktop
  • Addressing network configuration questions and troubleshooting network issues
  • Assisting with device deployment (iPads, Chromebooks, Macbooks, Dell laptops, other)
  • Assist with domain transfers and management
  • Google Apps for Education and user management
  • This role requires traveling to schools for onsite support typically 2-3 days out of the week (must have a car and valid driver's license). The other 2-3 days a week will be spent in the Davis office.
  • Maintaining equipment inventories
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Familiar with computers and a variety of computing and mobile technology (including iPads and Chromebooks)
  • Familiar with basic troubleshooting techniques, including printing
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, DNS, firewalls a plus
