Heartland Parents ā€“ Getting Started Guide

Welcome to the Heartland Charter School Mobile app! Follow these simple steps to access the Heartland Charter School Mobile app:

STEP 1

Download the Heartland Mobile App

For iPhone Users

  1. Open the App Store on your iOS device

  2. Download the app using one of these methods:

  3. Install: Tap "Get" to download and install the app

  4. Wait for installation: The app will automatically install on your device

  5. Once installation completes, make sure to allow notifications so that you would receive notifications of communications from Heartland Charter school.


For Android Users

  1. Open Google Play Store on your Android device

  2. Download the app you may use one of these methods:

  3. Install: Tap "Install" to download and install the app

  4. Wait for installation: The app will automatically install on your device

  5. Once installation completes, Make sure to allow notifications so that you would receive notifications of communications from Heartland Charter school.

STEP 2

Sign In to the App

Use one of the two sign-in methods shown in the screenshot to access the app:

Option 1: Sign In with Google

Select Sign In with Google and choose the Google account associated with your school records.

Option 2: Sign In with Email

Enter your email address and tap Continue. A one-time verification code will be sent to your email. Enter the code to securely sign in.

Important: Whether you sign in with Google or email, be sure to use the same email address that is associated with your school records.

Once you sign in, you'll notice a refreshed app experience designed to make it easier than ever to stay connected with your school. Here's an overview of what you'll find in the updated app.

Enjoy a modern, streamlined interface designed for simplicity and ease of use. The app has been updated with a cleaner layout, improved navigation, and enhanced compatibility with the latest iOS.

The Home tab is your starting point within the app. 

You will find your school groups that you have access to through your account. 


šŸ“„Inbox 

The Inbox still keeps all your school communications organized in one convenient location but now features advanced organizational tools:

  • Filter By Groups: Quickly view the updates that matter most to you.
  • Communications: All announcements and messages from your school are compiled here.
  • Interactive Actions: Seamlessly "Like" or "Archive" messages to keep your inbox clean.
  • Saved Resources: Any resource you save within the app will now be instantly accessible right from your inbox.

Searchable Resources 

  • Search: You can now search directly within the Resources section.
  • Save for Later: Bookmark important resources to have them automatically saved to your inbox for quick reference.
